The eufy Security Indoor Cam S350 is a mains-powered indoor security camera featuring a dual-lens imaging setup and motorised pan-and-tilt functionality. According to eufy's Australian product documentation, the device combines a 4K wide-angle camera (3840 × 2160 resolution) with a 2K telephoto camera (2304 × 1296 resolution). Together, they deliver up to 8× hybrid zoom—comprising 3× optical zoom alongside digital enlargement. The unit also features 360-degree horizontal panning, 75-degree vertical tilting, and automated motion tracking. For low-light monitoring, eufy notes that the camera uses dual f/1.6 apertures and eight adaptive infrared LEDs capable of illuminating areas up to 10 to 12 metres away.
Who it suits
According to retailer listings and eufy, the S350 suits households seeking indoor monitoring for pets or living spaces without committing to recurring monthly fees. The camera includes an onboard microSD card slot supporting up to 128 GB of local footage, and it can also connect to a eufy HomeBase 3 for expanded networked storage. Households with congested 2.4 GHz home networks will also benefit from its dual-band Wi-Fi 6 hardware, which operates across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies.
However, users invested in Apple Home, Samsung SmartThings, or Matter ecosystems should look elsewhere, as eufy confirms none of these platforms are supported. Google Home support is limited strictly to casting live video feeds to compatible smart displays, though Amazon Alexa offers voice controls and display streaming. Those monitoring compact areas should also keep in mind that the telephoto lens requires a minimum distance of 2.5 metres from the subject to achieve sharp focus, according to eufy's user guide.
Australian notes
The S350 is distributed locally through retailers such as JB Hi-Fi and Bunnings, backed by a 12-month standard manufacturer limited warranty under eufy's Australian policy. Power is supplied continuously via an included 5V/2A USB-C adapter; it has no integrated battery, meaning recording ceases if mains power is interrupted.
For renters, the camera can sit freely on shelves or tabletops without requiring permanent mounting, but check your tenancy agreement before drilling mounting brackets into walls. Furthermore, if you position the camera near windows or shared indoor living spaces, verify your state or territory surveillance and privacy laws regarding indoor camera recordings.
