The Dreame L10s Ultra is a robot vacuum and mop that pairs with a do-it-all base station. Dreame says the dock handles automatic dust collection, mop washing, hot-air mop drying (typically about two hours), clean-water refilling and cleaning-solution dosing. It holds a 3L dust bag, a 2.5L clean-water tank and a 2.4L used-water tank, and Dreame claims up to 60 days of hands-free cleaning before you need to intervene. The robot itself has a 350mL dustbin, twin rotating mop pads spinning at 180RPM, and mops that lift when it heads back to base. Dreame rates suction at up to 5,300Pa and runtime at up to 210 minutes vacuuming in Quiet mode.
Who it suits
This is a sensible fit for homes with plenty of tile, timber or vinyl where daily mopping is the main chore, and for people who would rather empty a dust bag every few weeks than a bin every day. Dreame says navigation uses an RGB camera plus 3D structured light, with automatic carpet detection that boosts suction. Skip it if you are uncomfortable with a camera-equipped robot, if floor space near a power point is tight (Dreame lists the base at 423 × 340 × 568mm), or if you want the newest hardware — Dreame Australia's current line-up now features later models.
Australian notes
Dreame Australia's warranty policy is administered by 3RES COMAS Pty Ltd and applies to products bought from dreame.com.au; for other retailers, Dreame says to check the reseller's policy, so confirm warranty terms at the point of sale. Dreame states the L10s Ultra is TÜV SÜD certified and meets ETSI EN 303 645, a cyber security standard for connected consumer devices. It is controlled through the Dreamehome app, and Dreame lists compatibility with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. Amazon Australia lists a "Complete" bundle that includes an extra accessories kit.
Running costs
There is no subscription mentioned by Dreame. Ongoing costs are consumables: Dreame Australia sells replacement 3L dust bags in three-packs, and an L10s Ultra accessories kit (one main brush, two side brushes, two filters, two dust bags and six mop cloths); check its store for current prices. You will also go through cleaning solution if you use the auto-dosing feature. Dreame's warranty excludes consumables such as mops, brushes and filters.
Alternatives in our catalogue: the Dreame L20 Ultra is a newer sibling that Dreame Australia says shares the same 3L dust bag; the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is a rival flagship robot vacuum and mop with its own self-cleaning dock; and the Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni offers another all-in-one dock design with a square robot body.
