The Dreame X60 Ultra (model DRE-X60U / RLX86DE) is an automated robot vacuum and mop paired with a multi-function base dock. Dreame rates the unit at 35,000 Pa of suction, supported by dual counter-rotating brushes and mop pads that exert 15N of downward pressure. Its All-in-One PowerDock manages maintenance by emptying the onboard 230 ml dustbin into a 3.0 L or 3.2 L dust bag, washing mop pads with 100°C water, dispensing detergent, and drying pads with hot air. Navigation relies on a retractable DToF sensor that lowers the robot's height to 79.5 mm to clear low obstacles, alongside dual 120-degree cameras for AI-based obstacle detection.
Who it suits
This machine suits households with mixed hard floors, carpets, and raised internal transitions. Dreame states the Proleap system can traverse single thresholds up to 4.5 cm and double steps up to 8.8 cm, which assists in older Australian homes with high timber or stone door tracks. The 45 mm automatic mop lift prevents wet pads from contacting carpets when transitioning between zones. Pet owners handling heavy shedding may also benefit from the dual detangling rollers and automated hot-water mop cleaning.
It is less suited to homes with tight spaces. The docking station requires substantial dedicated floor area, measuring 390 × 423 × 499 mm and weighing 10.6 kg when dry. Households with combined or single-band 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks will also need to ensure a 2.4 GHz network band is broadcast, as the unit cannot connect to 5 GHz.
Australian notes
The X60 Ultra is stocked by mainstream Australian retailers, including JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, and The Good Guys, and includes a 36-month local manufacturer warranty. It is supplied with an Australian standard mains connection, though full electrical draw specifications are not published on local retail sheets.
Software setup through the Dreamehome app enforces region locking, meaning units bought through Australian channels must be registered to the Australian regional server. Smart home integration is broad, offering native Matter support that links the robot to Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, and Home Assistant without subscription costs. Because the obstacle avoidance system relies on active optical cameras, residents in sharehouses or rental properties should check relevant state surveillance and privacy legislation.
