The EcoFlow Delta 2 (model EFD330) is a portable power station providing 1,024Wh of energy storage using Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) cells. According to EcoFlow Australia, the battery retains over 80 percent capacity after 3,000 complete charge cycles. The unit weighs approximately 12 kg and measures 400 × 211 × 281 mm. It acts as a mobile power hub during blackouts, camping, or off-grid jobs, featuring four Australian pure sine wave AC outlets that supply 1,800W of continuous power alongside dual 100W USB-C ports and standard USB-A ports. EcoFlow states that AC mains recharging draws up to 1,200W, allowing a zero to 80 percent top-up in roughly 50 minutes.
Who it suits
This unit suits campers, trades, and households wanting portable backup power for domestic essentials during grid interruptions or camping trips. EcoFlow indicates that the 1,800W continuous output (with 2,700W surge) can power domestic refrigeration, lights, work equipment, and personal computing devices. For high-draw heating appliances, EcoFlow's X-Boost feature allows operation up to 2,400W, though the brand specifies this is meant for resistive heating elements and not for precision electronics with strict voltage requirements. Users who need longer runtime can expand capacity to 2,048Wh or 3,040Wh using compatible EcoFlow expansion batteries.
Those requiring an uninterruptible power supply for sensitive computing or medical gear should look elsewhere, as EcoFlow specifies the Emergency Power Supply switchover at under 30 milliseconds rather than a zero-millisecond transfer. Smart home enthusiasts should also note that the Delta 2 does not offer native integration with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, or Matter, though community integrations exist for Home Assistant.
Australian notes
The local version features four Australian standard three-pin 230V/240V AC outlets, removing the need for travel adapters. EcoFlow supports the unit with a five-year local warranty through its Australian retail channels.
App control uses Bluetooth for off-grid adjustments and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for remote monitoring; 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks are not supported. If you intend to connect the unit directly to domestic household wiring via an inlet socket during a blackout, consult a licensed electrician and check your state's electrical safety regulator. For solar charging, the DC input is limited to 500W and 60V.
