Overview
The Aqara Smart Lock U100 is a biometric door lock designed for wooden doors and compatible with Apple Home, allowing users to unlock with an iPhone or Apple Watch via Home Key. It can be unlocked even when the Apple device is out of power. The lock is made from zinc alloy with a polished finish and measures 13.4 × 8.8 × 7.4 centimetres.

The lock is powered by four AA 1.5V batteries (included) with a battery life of up to eight months, and a USB-C port is provided for emergency charging. The lock is listed with an IP65 rating and is said to comply with a safety standard equivalent to BHMA Level 3.
